The new year makes a lot of us think of resolutions and plans for self development. We start making lists of what we want to change and get started. We fill our agendas with new things to try and gym classes get fuller. We set objectives to reach a higher sense of achievement.

As many other children in Spain, I spent a big part of my childhood at my grandparents house. Both of my parents worked and my grandparents were very involved in my care after school hours and whenever needed.

Smithsonian Immersion
A short time after finishing my studies, I visited one of my study friends in Washington D.C. My friend was busy studying and interning at a pro-bono and that gave me plenty of time to do some sightseeing.
